I'm going to call this one out on being a hoax. The timeline and description you're giving just don't mesh. Almost everyone in the alum network is close to the current recruiters. I'll notify the relevant people to take a look into this, in case there's a need for further action. Whoever might consider this 'opportunity', I'd recommend you do not entrust your personal information with this person.

  2. I knew had as much possibility as seeing three happy-go-lucky laughing smiling Swedes!

What is the angle or end game of this trap? Getting you to pony up money or financial information?

All good guys. Considering the amount of newsletters and porn people subscribed the spamex address for. I realize most here are wary of sending a resume because they don't even have a highschool diploma. I feel your pains. And with nothing better to do then troll a thread about why is it unpaid, why this and why that, when it was all clarified from post #1.

I am going to set this up a as co-op/course credit internship instead.

Thank you for proving just how stupid you are, I thought I didn't need more clarification. But I appreciate it. You should repeat again how it's an unpaid internship.

If you don't understand the basic reason for why people use spamex (let me give you a hint, it's to protect your real email address from spam and trolls like you) then you have much bigger problems or you are spammer.

Co-op/course credit internship => employer foots the bill for 3-4 credit hours (so it's like a college class you don't pay for).

  7. You didn't even clarify what you expect your assitant to do exactly. Type your trades into excel or something? Make coffee? What valueable experience could an intern gain? Presumably this would be the only reason someone works for free, no?
