Yes easier said than done. If its so easy, why do so many have difficulty mastering it? IMO, many traders fail to address inner conflicts that impact their trading. By reading books of this type, those who might previously thought they had no problem, begin to realize that perhaps they do. Addressing them then results in greater performance.

Something I thought was interesting was men, who have been successful in other businesses, often times have difficulty realizing the market is not something they can control. Not being a man, it provided some insight.

    :D And you think a woman's mind is a mystery!:D

  2. You don't need to fix your mental problems first unless you are seeing stuff that's not there. You just need to make decisions probabilistically.

Agree. Although in addition to seeing stuff that isn't really there, they may not be seeing stuff that is and not know why.

Wasn't it Fast_trader that threw in the towel recently? He had been successful in other areas of business but struggled constantly with trading. That would be an example of someone needing Douglas' type of therapy.

This opinion of course comes from the pure and outstanding female logic. Logic that no man in his right mind would dare argue with. :D Unless he wants to sleep on the couch.
