  1. well I think they may cut off your dearest body part if you stare at the local women for too long, but what would you stare at anyway ?
probably a very boring place for a young single Westerner, if it weren't why would they need to advertise Dubai on CNBC Europe ?

  2. For a married man who loved his wife who he left behind in canada, it was hard as hell.

being an Arab in there, I was a minority in the night clubs.
There are thousands of Russian girls who only work night shifts (if you get my drift)

tons of European girls who live and work in there (expats)

Arab girls are the hardest to get though they are party animals too.

  3. Yeah the whole virgin thing and all. Maybe if they get drunk enough I can get a dozen of them or so and convince that we're in heaven and it's time to get busy.

  4. Has nothing to do with virginity...It is all about a band around your finger...The are very calculating and they know how to hunt you down.

  5. I'm seriously thinking about moving from Canada to dubai after the end of my current contract.
I heard once a guy at CNN , carlson say that any Canadian with ambition is already in the US and I agree with that 100 %.
never seen so much nepotism and laziness as I've seen among "native" canadians....that's keeping the unions out..and the tax rates..
if it were not for the immigrants in Toronto, this country would be already third world.
if you love places where losers are celebrated, Welcome to Canada !

  6. In my case, I moved from the US to Canada!
I love this place and I disagree with you that they are lazy!

For a country with such a small population to a chive the status it achieved is an accomplishment on its own.

In regard to taxes, I do not mind paying higher taxes knowing that I will not be charged $US1200 for three stitches to my finger.

But then again, that is only me.

By the way, what are you contracted for oktiri?

I've just returned from a trip to London. Lots of posted advertising to purchase condos in Dubai. Does anyone know of any links that would be useful in exploring employment opportunities for westerners in the financial sector (particularly trading)?
