The little confused man was not really to prompt a PM but to ask the relevance of the comment.

Sorry I should have been a bit clearer with my last post.

would you please explain a little more as the comment seems a bit, well how can I say it,

  4. Imagine

    Imagine

i considered very seriously moving to dubai as I have been there many times ( work related ) - but what always turned me off was the amount of time that would be spent indoors

markets open in the evening thus when the weather is bearable for half the year, you would be inside trading

during the day - you are inside because of the heat and sun

    summertime - 24/7 inside

but at least the traffic has lightened up and the daily show with john stewart is on at 11 pm, for those asking about tv :p

Ahh Craig as in Craig who used to trade here? Wow man what happened to you over on T2W, it's like you're a school kid or something, just read those posts, keep some self respect man! I know you and P had a bust up with them that day you left but that's looking bad.
Anyway i'm sure i'll bump into you for a beer down barasti soon enough, Hope the trading's going well. And whatever you might say about the place I like it trading here so stop putting the boot in and doing your laundry in public. The trainees are a good bunch too, what's your issue with Alexis?? A very surprised E

Eurex shut the hub down because TT would not open a data centre here, as the gov wouldn't finance its installation. Because most locals want TT they all traded down the lease line which was fatter than the eurex one back to Frankfurt anyway. (The same comms company installed both lines). I traded through Ecco on the hub for a few months but found it slower. DPTG has the only dedicated lease line back to Europe which is why I trade here, I couldn't shell out the thousands a month they pay for it on my own. I tried VPN when I first came out and it sucked so i wouldn't consider that an option. If you position trade then fair enough but then why wouldn't you just spreadbet back in the UK for no tax. I like it here and I like the management for anyone else thinking of coming to scalp eurex I'd highly recommend it and the beach lifestyle is awesome.

    Hey Dogfish

Ironedout put the initial post on T2W cos they are charging a lot of money for the course. I also told them my opinions before I left but instead of addressing the concerns of a paying customer they got a bit........ well let just say the conversation didn't go well.

People use these boards to research companies such as DPTG and I think the less experienced of us deserve another view.

I agree the first post was maybe a little aggressive but instead of again addressing the issues (2nd chance) DPTG just came back more aggressive and as you see we just let them hang themselves, they seem to have done a proper job of it too!

I guess they are not telling everyone the full story about some of the issues, but I'll save that for the beer at Barasti.

As for the trainee's I have no issue with them at all and as a course I can say we all got on, but that's obviously a reflection on the people on the course rather than anything else.

I have absolutely no issue with Alexis, I am very surprised they got him involved, the banter (as Zain put it) was suggesting that we didn't believe it was him writing it. Looking back that's as far as any of the replies to Alexis go. After all he's bigger than me me and I don't want to upset him. Actually he's bigger than most of us. :D :D

Everyone here currently trades futures, desk fee is not the cheapest compared to London but it is all relative to UK tax of 50%, I believe US citizens only get first $80k tax free being non-resident so probably less attractive if you are one.
