trading in CRT (charitable remainder trust)

  1. This is my first post. Please forgive me if this is not the best forum for this question.

I read some articles about CRT but still not quite sure whether it is a good carrier for trading stocks and options.

The confusing part is about tax exemption. All people talk about in CRT is holding stocks or estates for a long time. If I keep buying and selling stocks and options in CRT, does it mean I have to pay capital gain tax each time I sell the stocks?

And also is it allowed to trade options in CRT, such as naked options, covered calls?

Has anyone here opened a CRT and traded there? Any thoughts?

    Thanks.
