Was just looking at the NYMEX website and noticed that open-outcry trading hours for most products was 10AM-230PM Eastern, but futures trade almost 24 hours a day (similar to CBOT/CME interest rate products, but different hours obviously). Would I be correct in assuming that these markets are most active and liquid during open-outcry hours? Anybody know when ICE-listed contracts are most active?
