Trading FX futures

  1. lol, really? Well please feel free to post a screenshot of these 3,000 pip discrepancies......yeah, right.

Listen friend, I don't care who or what you trade but if you post garbage expect to get corrected, it's that simple :)

  2. You might but that doesn't mean everyone does. Read around the forex forum posts and see traders making money day-in day-out, that's hardly what I would call getting 'destroyed' :)

  3. ITR2744

    ITR2744

I'm trading 6E all day long, besides instruments like NQ, ES etc. it's great too for very short term trading strategies/scalping...

But be aware, that liquidity is low @european hours (If that's a matter for you). As an european trader I was looking for a nice instrument I can trade in the morning but was a bit disappointed with its slowness in the morning... So, you can't compare with 24h FOREX...

  4. CT, i do speak from experience. i've traded fx futures on floor of cme, fx futures and cash off the floor for funds (and myself) and fx futures, cash > EFP's for banks and ib's. unregulated fx trading for retail investors is sketchy at best and close to outright thievery. stick to futures.

  5. Im sorry I obviously meant 30 pips. Thanks for being the posting police and correcting an obvious slip and calling me out on it, what would be do without that.

Drink the cool aid man. Yeah your great and your making a lot of money with bucket shops but they don't exist because the traders are winning, they exist because they can easily manipulate an unregulated game.

I am just posting all this because I am glad that I became informed in trading fx futures as its a topic that is rarely discussed. Due to the fact the bucket shops do nothing but advertise like informercials they get all the attention. But thankfully before I started to trade size I was not fooled. Thanks to those that have helped me see the light and have given me a legit shot at making some real pips.

  6. That's great but it doesn't really mean very much when it comes to trading cash with a bucketshop marketmaker.

I can only go by my own experiences and I'm doing just fine and have been for a number of years, why fix what ain't broke?

  7. Yeah easy mistake to make, after all what's the odd extra couple of 0's in this game, eh....

    lol, unreal :D

(ps: while I'm at it....."your great and your making a lot of money " should be you're as in you are, not your), and you're right, yes I am and it's good of you to notice! But if you're saying I'm great and making a lot of money doesn't that kinda ruin your argument about bucketshops?

  8. This will be my last reply in this post. Again thanks for the information on fx futures.

To those that like to sit on these boards and just post and post during the trading day not offering anything useful good luck to you. Some of these posts are like politics. Everyone insults or nit picks over non issues and doesn't discuss the real issues.

The real issue here is the fact bucketshops thrive and prosper because they manipulate the game. They must be making money or else they wouldn't exist. Sure some traders do win just like card counters win at the casino, but the high majority of you will lose at bucketshops. Whether it is your trading style or them squeezing you dry, it is probably a combo.

But thankfully I saw the light and will start trading fx futures via tradestation. I hope most bucketshop traders who deal with 5-6 pip spreads during slow time or 10 pip spreads during news realize the spreads are that way cause the bucketshop has bonuses they must pay their presidents. His Hamptons home is probably due to your losses (Was my spelling of "their" proper there?)

Good luck to all and again thanks to those that offer useful insights instead of those that waste our times.

  9. lol, and that comment (together with all your other drivel) should tell everyone exactly where you are on the learning curve!

I expect you'll be back in another few weeks/months when you've lost your money again, this time you'll be complaining about futures, lol, blame anyone but yourself.

Have fun, good trading, and watch out for those obvious extra zero 'slips'.

    Tooooo funny......:D

By the way, while I was posting I was also trading with my 'unregulated bs death-wish toilet casino manipulative bucketshop marketmaker', some of us can actually manage multi-tasking :p

    3 trades, 3 wins, 99 pips......guess I was just one lucky 'crack-cocaine-using gambler', huh?

    :D

  10. lol, trading is my day job you doofus :D

Can't make money trading cash with a forex bucketshop huh? Like flushing money down the 'toliet' (whatever that is, I'm assuming toliets aren't the best place for flushing money down!)

    Yeah, ok.....

12 trades, 12 wins, 124 pips (that's 223 pips while you've been playing with your putz!)
