Trading Future Options

  1. Have anyone trade future option? For example, I am looking at EUR MAY06 1.25 Call on IB. It is showing bid x ask of
    0.0009 x 0.0013

Let say, if i buy 1 contract at 0.0013, how much can I lose if this contract expire worthless.

    Thanks for the input.
  2. Just multiply it by size of the contract.

The loss would what you paid for the option plus commission and fees. Eack .0001 in Euro equals $12.50 so the dollar loss would be (.0013-your quote) 13 X $12.50 = $162.50 (plus commission and fees)
