"After trading" could mean the daily job, and/or retired from trading. In both cases, for many, if not most, this "after trading" free time is one of the attractions benefits of trading for a living... Daily free time, and/or financial independence allowing time freedom, to the extent a human can have time freedom.
"I have been trading on and off since a decade" I think he is fine with his plan: He has been in the market on and off for about ten years so he definitely learn much from the market, and he has shown pretty consistent profits yet low DD over three months and has done pretty remarkably. People trade full time for different reasons: some for money/profits; some for freedom, and some for the intellectual fulfillment/challenge. The market is a huge place that can offer some ultimate satisfaction for different conquerors.
How anybody lucky enough to have a degree and a career...can be motivated by moving to a boring job of hitting buttons escapes me. The thrill of gambling can overtake someone. Trading your edge is boring. But you are not going to listen to me and you will do what you want to do. ES
