  2. The best thing I ever did was marry a thai lady. The people are very friendly, mostly very safe as the people are non confrontational. The national saying is Mai Pen Rai or basically wait till tomorrow.
It's corruption is not a negative kind.Instead of taxing the people for big government each public sector raises extra cash on their own.Oh, they love Americans which you can't say for everwhere now.
Theri stock market has gone up over 30% this year because the new prime minister(a billionaire) is loaning and giving aways money to the people. He says he trust the little guy to [ay it back before a big corporation will.
And the Baht makes even a few hundred dollars seem like many thousands. The food simply wonderful and everywhere.
If your a guy you may never want to leave and wonder why you didn't go sooner.

  5. Hi,

Can someone tell me how they manage their trading time
in thailand. The trading time realy sucks here. It will be fine
if you don't mind staying home at night.

I don't have flexibility for my time. It's horrible to be sitting
in front of PC 5days a week during best time of the day
which starts from 8.30PM to 3.00AM.

I want to know how fellow traders that trade from thailand
    manage your time?
Won't it be a smart Idea to be trading forex as well, so you
the choice for when to trade either night or daytime?

  7. Do you think it's normal for a person to be trading or doing
    any other business night time.
Just Idiots do business nighttime, and like any other business
you got to work daytime and enjoy you life in the evening

It is not matter of where i live, where all entertainment start at
evening. I would not be ready to trade at night even i was living
in japan, australia, china, other any ....

Btw do you know what is a DingDong farang now? it's me.

Nanatrader - I dont know what type of trading, instrument or market you are trading. I guess you have a few options:
    1) Change the instrument
    2) Change to a different market more local to you.
    3) Change the style of trading. For example you could try to
look into the times you trade such as the first 1-2 hrs where
a lot of the movement is these days if you are daytrading or
maybe look at trading over a few days..

    Regards,

You could try trading Thai stocks. You would be at a disadvantage not speaking or reading Thai. However there are probably more inefficiencies to exploit in the Thai market than in the US or Europe.

The Thai market is doing very well at the moment, and the baht is strengthening against the $. Going long AIS is probably a pretty safe bet.
