Trading from home - What commission rate is reasonable?

And which place would that be at?

I am talking stocks...not currencies, futures etc.

Interactive Brokers - extremely fast execution and one of the least expensive commission schedules

 

depends on your volume...

 

You should not pay more than $0.005/share...
Do not even consider paying flat rate $10 or more.

At 2,000,000 shares/month IB gets down close to $0.003/share.

 

Do you mean remote trading with a prop firm...or retail trading?
