As I said many have not considering that the OP is trading fast. Leave it at that.

    How do you do that?
Special software on mobile & laptop?
Any security issues with possibly being hacked / disrupted?
Can the mobile control the laptop's functions or is it read only?
Mobile screen size for observing laptop monitor, is there a visualizing issue with reading text size?
    Thx

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing especially using the cell phone to monitor what's occurring on the laptop with all the distractions going on while on a Cruise ship / vacation.

  5. I've considered a VPS in the past and may do so again. Thanks for reminding me of this possibility.

  6. As yc47ib suggested, I used remote monitoring software on my laptop and phone. I do the same thing when I need to step away from the office.

I have software I wrote that displays a few critical numbers every few seconds. There are no issues reading them on the phone. If anything looked suspicious or worrisome, I returned to my cabin.

  7. For my wife and I, the cruise ship was mostly a mode of transportation to different locations and the main attraction was visiting the cities and towns (and beaches). We would mostly just enjoy a nice dinner together or enjoy the view with a drink while the market was open and I'd check my phone every now and then to make sure everything was fine.

For my son, on the other hand, the onboard entertainment was the main draw... so the cruise was perfect for us because he kept busy with all the other kids and we just relaxed. If the market is open, then I'm monitoring it... so this is as close to a vacation as I get. I'm happy with it. With the time zone difference, my days were free and then I just kept tabs on the market during weekday evenings.
