padutrader, Great job sir. That is some good and marvelous trading right there. You definitely inspire me to work harder and smarter.
padutrader, I truly appreciate your efforts and showing us live trades for Free. It gives me confidence to proceed on my path. Like you, I hope I can give back to ET one day with my own journal of live trades. It is a goal of mine just to let others know it is possible. So much appreciate to you. Thank you,
And people in other threads talk about padutrader in such bad ways. This is the reason I always defense this man. He makes money and shows it. Good trade man!!
padutrader, Yes, Brooks teaches the basics and just pure price actions and technical analysis. The challenge I see is information over load. A new trader needs complete structure and confidence building. For example, there are so many ways to trade a breakout. How to enter, where to exit. We all see the breakout. When i first started trading. I was in a private room with a teacher only bought /ES, he would never sell. Took me 2 years to get out of the habit of only buying and not shorting. Building the confidence while enduring loss of money, time, and energy and mental stress is the pain.
40 lots...?!?! You're a madman!! (And your broker too ) Very good call. And I see you added quickly! The difference between you and me is, that on that precise moment, I decided that holding my long didn't make sense anymore. But you... went short!
Padu a while back posted that he at times doesn't mind criticism as it helps him think. I'm actually rooting for Padu to win, but just recently baiting him in fun because am hoping my teasing will get him to think about things a different way. Now this Al Brooks bloke, what I'm reminded about when Padu frequently refers to him is; a grown man talking about Jack and Jill and Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme books they read 20+ years ago. He's now a grown man but still harping on about a guru book when in my opinion should be coming up with original equipment a grown man builds. Anyway Padu tries but not hard enough imo. The $9k he won recently, the track record is, what Al Brooks REALLY REALLY taught him was how to fleetingly hold it and then give it back plus some.
i lost 9 k the other day-friday- and i got it back so you are talking in reverse i only talk about myself....take the hint
