0nce a trend line is touched and it bounces off it... with momentum/strength the market will touch it again....and if that is sloping up or down then that is where the market will go....the trick is when the market is ready to do that, it will do it so the momentum has to die and market turn..but it gives a target.

that is why chasing momentum is often met with some very unexpected and unpleasant results and traders complain of stop running.

this is something I have experimented with for years and it is an extremely subjective technique which if you practice and practice and practice becomes extremely powerful.

but there are literally hundreds of trend lines that can be drawn and it is very difficult to explain which one to draw and use.

and how to draw them...I draw them so that it touches many points of the market and then you have to read that information and then see if a trade can be entered on that basis.

every trend line will give you some information so you have to find the information you need and is relevant to you.

I am only explaining this because you asked me....I DO NOT THINK IT WIILL MAKE MUCH SENSE TO MANY.....but traders are an extremely intelligent lot and it is possible many use this.

It was first suggested by Brooks but it took me 7-8 years to make sense of it.

but I have seen your analysis and I do not think you should think about it.....you do not need it

but it is something that you could keep in mind because in many different market conditions you need many different tools and if you do not have these variety of tools then you just have to sit it out until market changes.

EDIT sometimes it gives no information...and you should not see ghosts....or force something.. just use another tool

dealing with success is far more difficult than dealing with failure

it is a problem that not many have and is nice to have

but it is something to figure out....and looking inside is scary you never know what you will find there

EDIT I have learned not to take success for granted....it is not a destination...but a journey

I think now is the time to see what is happening in the market

i have to find a way to trade these trends but euro does not trade one sided for long...unlike audusd or the usd jpy….

it is a unique and that is why very few can trade it successfully.... leave alone understand it

I owe a lot to him....but have developed my own style which is similar to his, in the way that it is a bitch for someone to figure out what the hell we are doing....both of us use highly subjective stuff which takes years figure out...I do not know why.....why not think like volpri whom anyone can understand

do we have a desire to prove how smart we are?
