Which trading platform would allow me to day trade non-US markets? I currently use Tradestation but I don't think I can trade foreign stock markets directly.

    thank you.

Good luck. Make sure you undestand currency conversions and how much they can cost you.

  3. As long as I know with IB there is no currency conversion. You borrow and therefore have a negative amount in that currency. When you close the position that "loan" is closed. If you have a gain, you keep the gain in the foreign and if a loss you are still in the nagative in that foreign currency.
I can be wrong on that but I trade in US dollars and my account is not in USD and I dont pay a spread on the conversion.
But of course, for the time you are in the position, you have the currency risk because you are short (or long) that currency.
