Cool, good to know. FWIW I'm using 30 min charts and once I hit a price that is 2 x the stop loss I exit half, then supposedly I'll let the rest run til the end of the day. However, in the two dummies I've traded, I bailed the second half far too early. KCI, most notably and I left more than I made on the trade on the table. Thanks, - The New Guy PS I'm trading the options on the stocks for these.
good work. What do you use to scan in the morning? I missed both of those. I passed on NGPS but man, I wish I hadn't! I'm in DECK and THQI right now, and lost a little bit on AVID this morning. Thanks, - The New Guy
Hi everyone, Can't find any instructions on how to post charts on here. Can someone point me in the right direction? If it helps, I use esignal. nimrodeo
Use eSignal to save a chart to a file (usually png, jpg or gif format) and then attach that file to your message on here before you submit. You have an option on the "Post Reply" window that says Attach File. Good luck.
When you go to post, its right under the screen that you type in. Once you've written your text, click on "Browse" and find the pic file you saved on your hard drive. Then click 'ok' and the file path and name will show up in the cell to the left of the "Browse" button. All you have to do then is click "submit reply" as you would normally do. You can also edit the attachment later if you've made a mistake by editing your post. See pic below. Also, if the format is permitted to you, please save in GIF or PNG. Please do NOT use JPEG as a format because it makes the colours/lines very blurry - unless you have no other option, like me in this case.
Re: Chart Posting Thanks everyone for the help. I've tested it out and it works fine. It was the file name extensions in the file name box which had me fooled! Hopefully I can now post something useful. nimrodeo
