We did not default on the mortgage! Never! To be accused without reason, to be judged without your facts, defense and cross-action to have ever been examined, to be thrown to live without even money for daily living, while you still possess seven figure assets (our resident status here prohibiting us from engaging in any profitable activity ), and even to have your electricity cut off. And when, after three years and JCPC favourable judgment you believe that finally you will be heard in the court, you are evicted, which never happened before, even here, as far as I know - it is the custom that once you have a valid appeal, even declared not hopeless by the same judge who gave order against you, all sides wait for the outcome.. then being thrown out in only two hours with promise to come tomorrow and to take only what we need for one night.. even two bags with school supplies of my homeschooling children were left till "next day". We were expelled with nothing.. and still denied to access home to pack for daily living, unless we obey and sign deed of release. This is a Nazi-like way to behave. The fact is only one and is very simple - lit is second-grade math: UBS's claim is four times less than the house value, our claim is nine times more than theirs. Let the court decide who is right. Default on the property would be the result of alleged fraud when dealing with UBS combining the fact that they took out a mortgage and at the same opened trading account with same institution in an offshore location. To solve this one needs to think like a criminal. The cause of a default has some connection to trading account and OP family had to have money to trade to begin with. No offense to OP ,but to some degree i get an impression that they would be the kind of people that someone would attempt to take advantage of. Did trades execute on the exchange? Why there was a delay in reporting back those trades and extra charges? Why the money was withheld? If allegedly UBS bank employee in the Bahamas had intention to defraud this family would be ideal candidate.Large family with kids, trading that means someone needs to watch those trades and this insures that to pay off that mortgage there was one remaining adults who worked regular job.OK that pays the bills and if the trading fails they will default ,it's obvious.
