Agree, OP made a good choice, the one which fits his needs, desires and budget.

Congratulations to the OP for providing himself with a very nice trading environment as demonstrated by tag's.
[Nice setup, lol on the chips....]

Now all that is left is an ergonomic chair: Herman Miller, Steelcase Leap or compatible.

    Trade well, be well all.

  2. Something like this? Imagine kicking back and relaxing whenever there is a lull.

It is a nice chair, not only for kicking back and relaxing but supports your spine and your overall well being.

When you consider the amount of time we spend "at station", it is a very overlooked component of our working environment.

An ergonomic chair is a very good investment. If you put it in perspective, many don't think twice on dropping a few thousand dollars on CPU's, Video cards, laptops, tablets, smartphones, etc... but are hesitant to spend a few thousand on a chair which will last 7-10+ years and greatly improve ones health. Or at a minimum reduce the damage we inflict upon ourselves by sitting for extended periods of time.

I anticipate some will say a bucket is sufficient, some have higher standards.

Affordable - Steelcase Leap in fabric, if you think about it no more than upgrading a smartphone

  8. It doesnt matter how old a Ferarri is...it still looks good. On the other hand, computers are outdated within a year or so. This years base I-7 is faster than last years extreme I-7 and uses less power. I just junked a computer box from 2006. I didnt bother even trying to sell it. It went right in the garbage, but you would never do that to a Ferrari.

The Ford Fusion is a car you can cruise around in all day without calling attention to yourself. It requires little maintenance and wont give you trouble during a long ride. The Ferrari is not reliable and you see quite a few broken down on the side of the highway in Los Angeles.

Wealthy and successful people do not come to message boards such as this one and call attention to themselves. Instead, they hide away and even get rid of the mailbox so no one can send them anything. Anyone can file a lawsuit for anything like the gay massage therapist and Travolta. You would have to be really stupid to come to a public messageboard and tout your wealth and success or you have to be a really good scam artist purposely trying to attract attention to yourself so others can give you money....little Madoffs in the making.

If I had my choice of residence it certainly would not be Nevada and I have to question that. Why does a wealthy successful trader come to a messageboard like this one, tout their success and live in Nevada? Its a depressing place and Im simply not impressed. I think you are a scam artist like the rest on this board. You obviously live on this board with tens of thousands of comments and messages monitoring it. Now why is that?

Sorry, I couldn't read your whole post as the screen on my iPhone is too small (what I trade from).

And yeah, Tahoe is a real shit-hole. No one with money lives there.

  10. I don't think I've ever made mention of personal money on this board, retaildaytrader/engineerlarry.

I was referring to Doobs' wealth. The analogy was used to show that $3-5k is nothing for the guy, hence the Ferrari analogy. Apparently your envious nature put you on tilt. You really take issue with a guy spending a few grand on a trading rig?

I don't think I've made much mention of NV on this board, but so be it. I don't know too many people who consider Lake Tahoe a shithole.

This thread and this board ain't your problem.
