I could trade 1 share of SIRI on a 300k account all day and make the same claim, does that really prove anything? My trading account has been cut in half twice this year, it has also doubled many times over, but that doesnt mean shit, because i only leave the money my firm wants in the account in order to give me all the buying power i need, or can make use of at the present time. The reason i would want to see the size of a TRADERS account is not necessarily for percentage gain, but more so to see how leveraged they are, and if the account size is even a significan number, i could get 200k buying power with 5k down and quadruple the account in a month, and it wouldnt mean shit.
If you have taken a 50% haircut, that's on you. As for the rest of that tripe, that is just what it is, tripe.
1) No I'm perfectly willing to let you pick your poison besides I've always been okay with an open ended time limit and periodically compare results. 2) That my affirmative action hero is just a plain ole stupid claim that you cannot possibly prove. 3) No , I have an old Coke bottle (real glass ) that receives my trading signals from space aliens who have mastered the art of time travel. So you see, there isn't as much guesswork involved ass you presume. 4) Please refrain from using terms that you have no frickin clue what they mean. thanks
This statement may be true in terms of investing, especially in efficient markets like the forex or the futures market, but when it comes to trading stocks, there is more than enough stocks, and more than enough inefficiencies in the market out there to exploit, to make big gains on a short term basis. Ill post some discretionary trades in the journal, just for fun, but i bet 1 quarter of my year came from trades that took less than an hour to come to fruition.
For what, you running away again failing to disclose your starting equity amount. btw : Since you give the illusion of stepping up there big boy. How much of your net worth are you risking. (I'm at about 96%)
To be honest, ill be surprised if he is even trading full lots on the forex, i bet he is trading mini's. I will be surprised if any of his positions are bigger than what you can do on a cash basis, with no leverage, LOL.
He's not trading lots, I'm sure of it. There's nothing wrong with that, though. This "contest" should not be about who has more money than who. That's just a silly pissing contest, or a dick measuring one. Who gives a rats ass? It should be about who can profitably trade - whatever vehicle of choosing in the rule set.
