Dear all: According to the textbooks, this is supposed to be a bullish season for cattle and hogs but all I see is a downward trend. Why is this happening. People are NOT eating less meat (Thank God!) - I thought seasonality was supposed to be strong in meats? - Can I get some recommendations on commentators, websites, newsletters, books, who are worth reading about meats? Thanks! B
they are killing a tremendous amount of pigs right now, expect to see pigs go lower. For cattle there are several reasons, there is a lot of bear spreading going on, buying aug selling april etc etc and there is not alot of cash and confidence. Feed costs are sky high as well
