    market is closed on Tuesday (1/2/07). Does that mean that FOMC Minutes will be rescheduled for Wednesday?

    any word on the CBOT, CME NYMEX ect?

    Pretty much everything is closed. NYSE, NASDAQ, CBOE

    CBOT and CME are keeping some products open till noon - financial futures I think
     
  8. Most major US exchanges will be closed for trading on Tuesday Jan. 2nd. One known exception so far: CME currency and interest rate futures. Those will be open until noon CT (i.e., suspended for only 4 hours vs. regular weekday schedule). Source:

    Also, CBOT "hasn't made a decision yet." Bonds will trade till 2 pm ET. And T-Bill auctions will be business as usual... what a shock (not).

    if all exchanges are closed the bond market should be closed.
