Hey folks, kind of a tangent, but still on topic, I think. Are there any folks here who are book collectors as well as traders? I kind of am a book collector. I get early editions and firsts whenever possible or affordable. What I just got in the mail today was a decent copy of Reminiscences of a Stock Operator.

It's not a first, but it is from 20s/30s.
    It's in a green cloth board, Doubleday/Doran.
    7 7/8" x 5 1/4".

Now, here's the kind of goofy request. Does anyone here have a copy this age with a decent dust jacket? And if they did, would they mind scanning it (600dpi) for me and sending it to me via Email?

I know, I know... it's kind of a geeky thing to do. But I'm kind of a geek. Plus, I've been looking on collector sites for sometime, and haven't seen a 20s/30s era copy with DJ... ever.

    Andre,

Here is a site that has a good collection of hard to find books, I placed one order about a year ago and was pleased. They also took back a copy of a book that shipped incorrectly, so service was good.

Ken Fisher from Forbes put this link in his column.

Here is one site that republishes old books, I would call for the catalog as the site is kind of clunky, I have also been pleased with the books I have purchased.

I can vouch for ABE Books. I use the site, got this book via that site. But I just haven't seen any with dust jackets from this era show up there. Thanks for the links.
