Hey everyone, I stumbled across this site this morning, thought I'd share it with you. These people really seem to know what they're talking about when it comes to traders and paying taxes. I have not purchased the info yet, but just the FAQ is full of great stuff, check it out. He reccommends trading your capital under a "legal entity", such as an LLC, so you can take advantage of all the best ways to handle your tax liability. But you have to get this set up BEFORE you start trading for the year. Anyway, have fun, maybe this will be helpful to some of you. Check out the FAQ section at the top and the recent articles at the bottom. http://tradersaccounting.com/ Don- Mods- If this is in the wrong place, feel free to move it. I did not see a section about taxes. Maybe there should be one?
I actually bought their product on trader status/taxation, and it does not worth the money. You can find those information free online.
No kidding? What part didn't you like? I think there's a lot of good stuff just in the FAQ section myself.
Take a look at http://www.greencompany.com/EducationCenter/GTTResources.shtml . They also specialize in trader-related info. Jack
I have looked at many, including tradersaccouting and I suggest daytradertax.com they don't just handle day traders. Paul Mann is here in Denver, I have met him he is a genuine guy and only charged me $500 for my LLC including consultation and preparing records. TradersAccouting wanted $1500?
