    Automate your trading.

I basically spend two hours setting up the weeks trading Monday morning, and occasionally check in.

Actually, my best month was when I went on vacation and didn't have access to the computer my trading is running on.....

So learn Python, and get your life back....

Proper bankroll management should remove the stress. Risk no more than 1% of your account on any given trade. Determine your stop price from your entry price.

    .01 × (Bankroll) = Total Risk

(Stop Price) - (Entry Price)/ (Entry Price) = Stop Risk

(Total Risk)/ (Stop Risk) = Total amount you can buy shares with for that stock trade

So you have $50,000. You want to trade ABC stock which is $10 and you have assessed $9.50 to be a reasonable stop point. 1% of $50,000 is $500.

    ($9.50 - $10) / $10 = .05

    $500 / .05 = $10,000

$10,000 / current share price of $10 = 1,000 shares is your max risk.

Your size is probably too high relative to your skill set / account.

  6. We've all been there, trading can be very stressful especially if you're sitting at home in front of your computer staring at a chart all day (and not making any money).

Walking around during the day, stretching, and simply leaving the house to get sunlight can really help your mental state. But you don't want to miss any trades during trading hours.

Would highly recommend checking out https://www.ninjamobiletrader.com/
You can run your trading software on your VPS, and remotely login using your phone while you're outside.

The advertising is targeting NinjaTrader users, but really it's a Windows Server so any Windows software can be installed, there are no limitations on usage or bandwidth.

In the long run it is impossible to day trade.

That being said, walking for a hour outside really helps.
Gym does not help that much in relaxing.

  10. It’s true that trading is stressful but it’s our own responsibility to manage stress so that trades are not hindered.
Start going for a morning walk daily. Fresh air helps improve blood pressure and heart rate.
