Trading and exit opportunities

  1. Hello, just wondering for people that manage to make money in trading, have developed good track records ( I am not a trader yet, but in real life know of two successful real life traders), but after developing many skills in trading which have somewhat applicable to business and finance in general ( investment knowledge, analytical thinking, tax planning, strategic thinking, risk management etc, is it possible to use ones trading track record and skills learned to move onto a more traditional business career. In other words:

    1. Can a successful career as a independent trader allow one to get hired anywhere in the business or mainstream finance world?

( There can be many legitimate reasons, why a moderately successful self employed trader may want to move onto something else)

    2. Allow one to apply to an MBA program.

    Thanks
