I've not found it a problem, but then I tend to steer well clear of women who want to settle down & have kids. In the event that I did go for this, it would have to be with someone who wasn't so superficial as to care what I did for a living. If you want more action, it's very simple. Go for women under 25 or over 40, flaunt your buccaneering trading lifestyle and make it a selling point. Avoid any women who want to settle down, and chase girls who want to party, get laid, and have fun. When they compare you to the penniless earnest college grads or corporate trainees on the bottom rung of the ladder (or in the case of older women, bitter divorced men or ageing permanent bachelors), you'll look the much more appealing prospect. Whatever you do, stay clear of the "I'm about to become boring" 2.4 kids & white picket fence brigade. They're crap in bed, nag you like shit, and are generally becoming even uglier and more out of shape than they already were to begin with.
Hey if you need it that bad then there is always a professional and if the guy is making $$ consistantly then what's he got to be concerned about? It takes a second to tell the truth and a lifetime to lie.
"I never give them hell. I just tell the truth, and they think it is hell." Harry S. Truman, President of the United States. LOL.
If you are honest and happy and at least reasonably successful, you'll get a good woman sooner or later. If you lie and deceive, you'll get what you give eventually.
the problem for some traders might be that their income varies like those in "show business" or the music or acting field perhaps some gals just do not want to date a guy who can make 6 figures for a few yrs and then hit a dry spell ( maybe it would be wise for traders not to date this type of woman anyway )
If a woman thinks you're hot lookin', she will rationalize whatever is necessary to get with you. If you're not getting women, it's not because of your occupation.... Duh!
Watch out the STDs though. There are some really dirty party chicks out there that you don't want to touch with a 10 foot pole.
