For the majority it holds true, I am sure there are exceptions though. Such as the one who made her own money because her parents were poor. Who do you think will take over daddy's job of buying her that bmw, paying for all her nails, hair, tanning, cell phone etc... once you marry. I have been on both sides of the spectrum and the poor one was a much better choice. It is far better to be poor and then become rich, than to be born rich. You appreciate it more and never forget where you came from.
well, you have some good points. however, every poor girl i have ever known wants the nice car, house, etc---- its very difficult to find a content, intelligent poor girl. do content poor, intelligent girls even exist? i never located one! many girls born into wealth want the "simple life" to borrow from miss hilton. i have numerous personal anecdotes to back up these statements. surf
im at the age where where the mom and her daughter walk up behind me, and its the mom that checks me out. dude, that is such a let-down. im just getting a little older, maybe im turning the corner? Dave, ive yet to encounter an itellegent & poor, but content anyone. its just easier for chicks to move up the financial ladder because more of them have less and more or us have more. BTW, love the MS t-shirts!
here in cali, like 60% to 65% of marriages end in divorce, marrying the poor babe is really bad idea. in cali, after 10 yrs you can get hit for life-time vaginamony, err "support." if you have kids and the vaginamony ends, they just take you back for more kiddy support. i will post a disclaimer that my ex-wife and i went to a mediator and split stuff right down the middle and she is real good with money is a good mom - i dont mind paying the support... after she remarried, she insisted that i continue to pay vaginamony, which i continue to do to this day... it just wasnt worth going to court and all the rest that would follow. BTW, i pay for almost every anyway, on top of the monthly butthook. marrying the poor chick is not a great idea IMO... we've kidded some (alot?) in this thread, but you need to be very careful who you choose as a mate - you're liable to spend 5-10 yrs of your life with them, and 18-22 years after that writing checks to them.
There is a simple rule of Fs: If it Floats, Flies or Fornicates, rent it ---- it is cheaper on the long run....
man, i got a lotta respect for you guys. my last real attempt at a relationship was with a vaginamoney receiver, she ended acting like a total head case (and i mean total ... head ... case). she never supported my trading anyway, so when the relationship ended and the trading took-off, well, it seemed very apropo. i know what i saw in'er (pretty on the outside, perks up the initial interest). but man, after awhile, it was just soooo easy to let it go. i guess you just thought you could work it out. but see in my early youth i encountered a lot of tricks, hos, golddiggers, freaks and girls who would do whatever it took to get ahead (i used to be heavily into the performing arts), so i alway keep one eye open for their bullshit. it's just kinda a given that they have the kid and run to the f*ck*ng divorce lawyer nowadays. man, i doubt i'll be getting married again (no vaginamoney). Most of the men I date are very hard workers - but that doesn't mean they have money. I have high standards when it comes to education and intelligence. I've had to work hard for the things I've wanted and I expect the same from those around me. He doesn't have to be well off (most of them aren't) but he has to work hard for the things he wants and of course he has to be able to make me laugh
