I am not angry, I just think you are stupid. Why do you care about where the data center is for access via REST API and a brokerage that sells your order flow? As many long-term and successful traders on this site already pointed out a brokerage that charges a fixed amount for equity executions such as Tradier has no other way to make money than selling your order flow. For that purpose it really could not matter less where the firm's data center is located at. Thats why I pointed out it was a very stupid question to ask.
So, no millisecond time stamps. (lets not talk about precision, lets talk about what your data feed actually delivers). Thanks for the clarification.
Yes, mi stoopid. Conversely, I'm willing to admit publicly that I suspect you're Ken Griffin and Steve Wozniak's baby. Yes, you're that brilliant! So, on behalf of myself and all the other internet morons, I want to thank you for taking the time to point out every item you deem to be stupid on the interwebs; a generous and admirable pursuit for someone of your stature. Without you, we'd be out living our lives having no idea just how stupid we are...can you 'friggin' imagine? If I might hazard one more idiotic question... Say I had no plans to use Tradier for order handling but was solely interested in their streaming data. If they were using a C++ API, REST, telegrams, or having a nice lady roller skate the quotes to my box, do you think it would be better to get the data from them in the same building or from 3000 miles away? Please help, I'm stumped.
ok, I answer your question straightforwardly: It STILL would make ZERO difference. If you cared about latency then why would you ever want to bother with a data feed that does not even timestamp its feed to at least milliseconds? And why would you bother with a feed that cannot explain in a straightforward manner how they source the feed? Because if it is a direct exchange feed it would be timestamped at high precision and if it was NxCore or any other 2nd tier feed it would also be timestamped at milliseconds. This is not the case, so why do you care about 200-300 ms latencies? Makes zero sense!!!
As far as I heard, it might be true that some Apps can take your personal info, such as order status of security as well as it can take your picture to send them, even without notice to you. Most time you ALREADY signed to allow their manipulation of your iphone. Be aware of that. However, it is different in 7 or 8.
