Why do you feel the need to interrogate me. Every person I know and their grandma is doing it. Why don't you interrogate them too. Just because I openly admit it while the milllions of other ineligible Canadians who applied but don't openly admit it, then you have no qualms with them? I already know I have to pay them back and I am ready for it. It's not like I am gonna flee to mexico or dispute it in court. I've lost 25k+ from my owe money over 4 years and then the govt is offering some fund & declares that it will not penalize those who apply but simply make them pay back the money. Do you think anyone in my situation will not jump the gun.
I had sympathy for you a little but you're responsible for knowing your fees. If the fee wasn't posted in an obvious location it was likely given to you in a disclosure you signed without looking. You'll obviously say that you looked at everything because of course, so you can probably take it up with FINRA if you really care.
I think the relevant question to ask yourself is this: Why choose a broker charging 5 times the borrow fee on the first night when almost all other brokers charge 1 times the borrow fee?
They know they screwed up in their system and now their just coming up with obvious scare tactics to try to stop people from applying. Did you lose your house trading haha? You did a good deed by bring the level of the locate fees to the attention to the ET community. Why diminish the impact by attacking other members and harming yourselves with anger?
If you look at it from my perspective.... I didn't reply on this thread for an entire week and left it far behind me. I went thru my errors, refined my trading plan, came up with a solid strategy and actually started to make new progress. Then my alerts come up and guess what? It's this turd again! Throwing a article he just dug up fresh off the news. Adding insult to injury. Talk about a pain in the neck!
