I am basically a futures day-trader, but sometimes, I find myself between 9pm-12am, looking at FX (just 100K-200K positions, very small). For some reason GBP/AUD, and GBP/JPY, are my favorites, due to their ranges. I call it "Netflix Trading", as I will be watching a movie, and if I recognize something as an opportunity, I will jump in. I use limit orders to capture the spread for added "cushion", and I simply scalp. The following morning (7am-11am), I usually see some massive moves (I go flat overnight). I then realized that these two pairs offer some great ranges. Have you found anything like these two, intraday? The main USD-based pairs do not come even close...



Watching "PRIME JAPAN" at the moment

 

Short GBPCHF at 1.2650, 18 pip stop.

 

Out at 1.2660, 10 pip loss.

 

Long GBPCHF at 1.2665, same stop.

 

Short gbpcad at 1.7070, 25 pip stop.

 

Canadian GDP in 13 min, this is going to be hot.

 

Out at 1.2650, 15 pip loss.

 

That's it boy, keep going down.
