TradeStation Securities announces new commissions

  1. I had an ICHOICE account I traded with Morgan Stanly Dean Whitter. Put of $50,000 pay a small fee and no commissions....


    well I soon was cut off from trading as I was too active for them

  3. I did a little more research on this and apologize for the confusion. Yes, you are all somewhat correct. I have found that they will shut you down if you are making 15 or more trades a day. IT could still be to a traders benefit yet is is definately not as attractive as they made it out to be.

    That's still a great deal. For a $50K account:

    15/day * ~60 days/quarter = ~900 trades/quarter

    Assuming 1000 share trades at IB at $7.50 = $6750 commish

    $50K * 1.5% = $750 at ML/MWD/whoever

    $6000 savings per quarter - more if you are trading size.

    Sounds like a good deal for swing traders.

    Can I trust Tradestation company with more than $10K in one account? Please compare with E*Trade, Ameri*Trade etc. I'd like to transfer my IRA. Because many of them starts to charge many expensive fees, which are countering the trend of the industry.

    I asked Tradestation in another thread. But no agent or fan replied. Thanks very much.
