Tradestation question

  1. With Tradestation is it possible to "scan" for stocks that meet certain criteria(I know they have Radarscan), but I mean something after market close for stocks to trade the following day? It seems I see different trading courses that will enclose software code to help do this.

  2. tradeProg

    tradeProg

    No.

Radarscreen has a maximum (200-500) number of symbols you must place in a 'grid', then apply your formulas (you code or buy from 3rd party, a few 'builtin'), and then you sort the grid by whichever formulas. Another consideration is that it has to pull all the data to your desktop to evaluate your formulas.

  3. You can also use the website for Wealthlab (www.wealth-lab.com) which has the ability to do daily EOD scans of your portfolio (which you can define). I think they use Yahoo data however, so user beware (plus you need to rewrite your TS script in Wealthscript, but it's not that difficult).
