Although I'm still a trading beginner, I have several years of experiences in buying stocks. I'm stock-orientated. Now, I wold like to use some software to help myself to establish a trading system. Considering Tradestation or Metastock, I don't know which one is better for me. As I live in Hong Kong, there are none of the Tradestation resellers here as far as I know. Of course, I can buy Tradestation in some countries where have Tradestation resellers if I'm determined to use it. But, right here, I've got some Metastock resellers who supply Metastock format data too. I doubt whther Tradestation can read Metastock format data.
Tradestation just came out with an upgrade, pretty interesting, they are adding in things pretty fast. http://www.tradestation.com
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3609395185&category=184 There is a metastock on ebay right now. (usually I think ebay yanks them...pretty freakin cheap I think even though it's an older version). Might be worth a look.
