    I am a pro account using tiered commission. I have been set to smart routing. If I solve all my trading issues, I am going to experiment selecting as a group the ECN’s that have the best rebates for adding liquidity. A feature that is part of symbol mapping in MC.

    They are pretty hard to get hold of lately. It’s unacceptable really. I call Lynn and talk to the trade desk and ask them for a manager.

    If you are looking to confirm your/their numbers daily, I can't help you with that. If you are looking to see if the Trade Manager is working properly, or if you want to see if you can get it to work properly, I can't help you with that either. But if you simply want to see if Tradestation is reporting correct numbers, look no further than your monthly statements. You can easily verify all the numbers on the monthly statements.

    Did more digging and I found what I think are the problems. No idea how it is to get fixed, but at least I have a way, with evidence to support my position. You might want to run some checks on symbols and see what shows up for you. This is using the TradeManager, not the analyzer and on the TS website Gain/Loss section.

    Using the Orders and Average Price sections in the trade manager, I filtered 1 symbol for my entire time trading at TS and retrieved the information. I found several things for symbols I am having accounting issues with.
    1. In other than the TradeManager, TS shows me flat a stock that I previously traded, which is correct. TradeManager does not. As an example in TradeManager I show having having bought a total of, 16,777 of DSS shares and having sold 16,786 shares. Not the case. As I said I am flat.
    2. While the shares bought and sold for AAPL agree and the filled prices match my trading log, the P/L in the gain/loss center is off when compared to calculated dollar amounts using TradeManager.

    The above were minor examples. I have a stock that I am flat on that shows I am long more than 1,000 shares. having traded more than 100 symbols, this is going to add up.

    It is the only tool available that is suppose to be accurate. Without it, TS becomes my broker, my bank and my accountant and in all cases I have to trust what they say is my result. If I don't trust my bank to reconcile my checking account, I am not going to trust my broker without reconciling my trades. At least for me, they can not just toss out bad information on all their systems and controls as well as tax reporting and try to disclaim it by saying it is for educational purposes. They need to get it fixed.
