Also most brokers I've used allows exporting of the trades in Excel format, are you sure TS doesn't support such functions?
I understand. I am hoping they will solve the problem. I need to get to the right person to get their attention. I just want TS and myself to agree on a simple way to determine daily realized trading profits while they tweak their systems. IB has awesome reports but there are issues with their data and trading costs are high when compared to TS. TS executions have been excellent even under situations where quite a few trades per minute are happening. That is why I have not bailed.
What's the largest discrepancy you encountered with TS? Did you ever have a large chunk of your principal balance go missing ?
The biggest 1 day difference I have documented is for one day, for one stock equaling about $300 When I found the problem and before I documented it, I had a month that changed by about $2500. Overall it feels like its off by about $4k this year. I was trusting their systems to keep track of everything. My mistake, but when I got a confirmation reports in the hundreds of pages for 1 day's trading it became easy for me to let my guard down.
It's super easy to get Excel readable CSVs from clientcenter.tradestation.com > Accounts > Equities Accounts > Trades & Other Transactions. The OP hasn't done that but instead relies on the export function of another tool known to be inaccurate. That's no basis to allege something sinister is going on.
Longshort, in your experience TS has their records straight most of the time? How many trades do you execute per day?
I am not going to debate what I have documented to be inaccurate reporting. I have tried all systems available and none have produced accurate results. Furthermore, no one should have to go through this to get a clear picture. My other accounts at Fidelity, Interactive Brokers and AMP all produce clear readable and accurate reports. If you have verified your results to be accurate that is great. In my case there are issues and I am trying to get them resolved After having confirmed the issues with supervisors and after waiting two weeks for a manager to contact me, I came here to try and get some help. I will go back to the meat of my first post "I have been waiting for a manger to contact me for 2 weeks. Anyone have emails to the executive offices? or h ave a higher up contact?" Thanks, BR
