I am new to Tradestation but seems that In order to meet the free platform fees one has to trade 5000 shares of stocks per month. I thought ...what if you trade at the beggining of each month 5000 shares of a $0.10 stock just to meet their requirements...would that be consudered by them? I wonder.
It will. You will pay the same amout of comish on 0.10 stock as you will on GOOG. And that is what they care about. But for you, it's hard to break even on a 0.005 per share on a 0.10 stock.
Thanks but I'm talking about platform fees $99.90 / month...they are waived if you trade 5000 shares per month. Commissions yes $1.00 flat regardless I believe.
Listed or Nasdaq. They will not apply the share number from pink sheet or BB stocks. At least they didn't in the past.
