How do i pull up continuous futures contracts on tradestation?
Plonk an @ in front of the symbol. No Month/year suffix is required. i.e., eMini S&P will be @ES
Just be careful - depending on the contract, you may get an adjusted or non-adjusted contract. If you're using the latest versions of 8.x, it's best to create your own adjusted. The easiest way to do this is to use their dialog boxes until you get used to the symbol formats
- Right mouse click on chart and select format symbol.
- Click the lookup button
- Click the custom futures tab.
- type in the symbol root (eg: ES) and then set your options.
This will result in a custom continuous symbol that you can use on your charts.
@ES works for me without all those steps!
Separate names with a comma.
