TradeStation 7 Released & New Lower Commissions

Is it at all possible to be more specific on the rollout procedure? For example, is it going to go alphabetically based on last name, random, etc? And how long exactly is 'the next several weeks?'

This library of technical indicators includes some of the most popular trading concepts—Moving Averages, Stochastics, RSIs and many more so you can start tracking a host of criteria from day one. Simply apply the indicators to the page of symbols you're following using a drag and drop interface, and watch as they update with each tick of the market.

• Custom Indicator Columns — But RadarScreen doesn't limit you to just built-in indicator columns. That's because you will be able to create your own custom indicators with the power and flexibility of EasyLanguage®. • Dynamic Ranking and Sorting — RadarScreen will dynamically rank and sort hundreds of symbols in real-time based on your own custom sort criteria. Symbols are ranked relative to others based on all column headings at once, and on numerous criteria. You will even be able to break up symbol categories into different pages or sub-sort the symbols on a page by including a blank row between categories. Good stuff Janette. Any limitations on the size of the symbol universe? And if so, when will that limit be eliminated or increased?

In the description of Radar Screen Janette mentions multi threading. Does anyone know if the main TS7 software is multi threaded? I'm shopping for a new computer and this would make a difference in my purchase.

 

I spoke to tech support today.. they said symbols are limited to 500... and maybe will be upped to 5,000 in the future....

Anyone out there know what the breakeven cost is for emini futures for a company like Tradestation or IB - before salaries and other outside costs?

In other words, what do they pay to the CME or related bodies versus what they keep for themselves (pay employees, rent, profit, etc.)

 

Would that count as two symbols towards the 500 limit?

The symbol limit for Interval based columns will be 500.

The same symbol with different intervals will be counted individually. So,

MSFT 1 Min
MSFT 5 Min
MSFT Daily

would count as 3 symbols.

last time I looked the Current Fees were:

Globex = 2.28 round turn
