Tradesignal looks good. If I can sort this news problem out, I will probably use it. It looks like it is the ideal platform.

It looks interesting. I have a couple of questions: (A) is this a web based application or PC based? It appears to be a web based application and in that case (B) can the webmaster figure out what strategy is used to place the orders?

This last question is an important one and it applies to the general class of web based trading applications. If the webmaster can figure out where the trade will be placed then he can front run it.

I'm using the latest version (5.0.4) of TradeSignal. I would not
subscribe to it now due to the lack of the functions stated in
my last posting. However, should it someday include those
functions, which eSignal and the others now have, yes, I would
    subscribe to it.

Trade Signal contains the longest list of indicaters and
strategies I have ever seen(100's?). I'm sure they would be very useful to many.

  4. It's not web-based - it's a Windows app. Again, looks really promising - just getting support could be problematic until they've got an english presence. Just try posting to the forum - all german!

In response to a question I submitted to support
I did get a reply in native English!!

  6. Oh I agree you can get support in English, but here's the problems:

    1. The entire community, which is important for a product like this, is in german.
    2. Support hours are not geared to the US - so if you have a problem on US hours, you may be out of luck.

Again, not bashing the company - the product looks very interesting - I just want a dedicated US presence before I commit to a product like this.

So, can someone recommand a RSS feed that I could set up in Tradesignal, giving news for all US stocks?

  8. It is a great product. Somebody has to put 1 + 1 together, buy these guys out and bring this product to the US with US news feeds, customer's your own choice of datafeed and an English community + manual.

Surely not rocket science and sounds like a solid investment. Then again, it will probably be some crap online broker who'd buy them out and then lock down the trading module just to their API. Like always.

may be the simplest way to handle the news issue would be to use an internet page inside TradeSignal for news. It has to be easily accessible. I would like to only have to type the stock's symbol and to get the news and only the news. Yahoo's site is not ideal. Because of the let pane, I would have to scroll to get each stock's news.

Can someone recommand an internet site showing just a line to input the stock's name and then the news?

Any updates on tradesignal.com performance. The posting are old.
Im after alternatives for tradestation 8.
Im not very happy with multicharts. Its buggy and just an advanced version of ts2000i.
It feels like 3 steps forwards and 3 steps backwards from ts 8.
    Ideally I want easylanguage compatibility.
I had head there was a koren product, but have not found it.
