I had a newsletter, believe it or not newsletter versus seminar, newsletter is 2X more time consuming to produce, also if I go the e-mail route , people will not pay a high enough price to make it worth it, Mail has gotten too expensive so it's a catch 22. That why I am going the seminar route, Video will be available on line for subscribers.

I will put example up on ET in next day or two for the virtual system example, I had to get something done for my client who trading about 10 million dollars on ETF's.

Documentation will be much better we are currently working on the new documentation as we speak.

  2. Hi Murray,

    I recently purchased TS 2.5.

I haven't activated it yet because I'm trying to figure out whether I'll be able to grasp all of the programming.

Do you get the 'code wizzard' after you activate the product?

Is the 'source level de-bugger' the same thing as the 'check syntax' button in the editor? If not, how do I access it?

Thanks. I have a million other questions, but I figured I'd start small.

Does TradersStudio offer a trial for evaluation? I am currently in a trial of Wealth-lab and would like to compare before purchase.

  4. No trial version. They say it is a tech support issue. Too many people to give quality support to which would take away from paid user support.

If you buy it, you can return it within 30 days for a $75 re-stocking fee.

Yes, you will get the code wizard after activating the product. The source level debugger, in order to run a system in debug mode, you press the fourth button on the same toolbar as the run button. In the main help under conceptural overview , you will see at the bottom of that section a book which is the section for the debugger.

Yes we also have realistic limit orders , where to get filled prices must trade 1 tick past the limit.

In addition all of our stock stuff allows you to trade and see entry at real prices not just split adjusted, you can also apply real money management when you don't buy the same dollar value of each stock , that not valid using split adjusted data only.

  9. A good idea, Samuel_weber74 :)

In fact, I have noticed that people who have bought TradersStudio seem to be happy and are ready to help each other. Moreover, I had a similar one and having understood the issues of not having a demo (Murray explained that to me), but had wished that there could be something more by which others (non TradersStudio users) can know more of the product, like through screenshots, or some video or presentation? It can be anything as long as it shows how TradersStudio looks like and what are the features, and show the workings.

After all, a picture is worth a thousand words. :)

Hope we can have all this in the new yahoo group. Besides, I liked the idea of having the workings in a downloadable PDF file as was done by Gyles in the experiment of MA Crossovers (http://elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=2127832#post2127832
    and

    What is your opinion?
