Hey guys, I've heard several people say that there is a correlation between winning poker players and successful traders. Just wanted to see how many have played poker in the past or play poker now, and if so are you a winning poker player? Also, has anyone invested in a poker company/site or is trying to invest currently? I know of a good oppurtunity that someone might be interested in, PM me for more info. Players ONLY gravitate to wherever large numbers of players are already playing, putting the unfortunate investor in a catch-22 situation. ZeroRake.com (founded 2004) wasn't able to attract a player base, and they offered a low flat monthly table fee with NO RAKE at all. EVERYBODY in the poker industry heard of ZeroRake before it even opened, strongly wanted ZeroRake to succeed, as it could have greatly lowered rake rates industry wide- yet the site still failed to seat more than a few dozen players at a time.
