traders who are deeply religious

  1. I think you need to define pressure. The pressure of making or losing money? If you are a believer in Christ then " render unto Cesear what is Cesear's and unto God what is God's".... I do not see how religon play's any part in investing or in any way helps or hinders one's investment descisions...or aids them in handling pressure...what pressure?

This is where Buddhism excels. In training the mind and mastering yourself. The same 'skills' you need to succeed as a trader. And it provides a Buddhist with the financial means to help alleviate others suffering through charitable contributions both on a local and global scale. I see trading as a win-win for me.

    He obviously is not aware of it & it shows;
as I was not aware for many, many many years, you interpret literally several of my favorite hebrew books Proverbs/Psalms differently.

Because hebrew poetry[Psalms,Proverbs in Word, bible]is interpreted differently from prophesy.

There is a song by a well respected Christian singer Carroll Robertson '' I see God everywhere''
    Thats like poetry, however.

  4. To those trades who are struggling with the potential conflicts between being a Christian and making money through speculation I would recommend the following book which contains 7 overlooked secrets from the Bible that control your wealth, success and hapiness:

    Pray and Grow Rich

  5. How about fuck whores and do blow and get rich? There is no correlation, except that people who pray are more likely to expect the easter bunny to just hand them shit. If you don't get shit handed to you then it "wasn't god's will", nice justification. People who do not rely on such massively delusional idiocy take maters into their own hands.

  6. some of you guys are so funny. 25000 children die every day of starvation in the world. why would god feel the need to make you rich when you pray to him when he cant seem to find the time to send a few drops of rain to people who are starving and praying for rain?

  7. If you buy and read the book, you may find the answers as to why many prayers do not get answered. The same answers are also in the Bible if you would spend a year or two studying it.

  9. I know the bible well. My favorite parts are the one where god smears shit on peoples faces, or makes them bake bread with shit. What an awesome all-mighty being!!

Or maybe you should throw away your fucking computer, give everything to charity and stop trading, because it is all just shit after all.

  10. Individuals who are full of doubt about their prayers ever being answered or who doubt God's very existence are virtually guaranteed to feel cut off from God's presence and goodness.

5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

    James 1:5-8
