    Your 10 year old knows better then to push his sister off the Rockies.:D

    We all KNOW what's RIGHT and what's WRONG even your 10 year old.

    Thus we are right back to where we started ... God's love and his law is a CHOICE and the timing is different for every person.

  2. its not a choice at all. how can you force yourself to believe something the evidence has shown you to be not true?
    try this experiment. try to force yourself to believe in santa claus. it was easy when you were young and you did not have the evidence to believe in a santa claus. now that you have been enlightened through a scientific look at the evidence there is no way to force yourself to believe its true again unless santa claus were to show himself to you. it is the same with believing in a deity that refuses to show himself.

    You have your right to your opinions and beliefs, I am not trying to change them.

    Jesus Christ instructed us to SHARE his teachings NOT beat you over the head with them... :)

    You say God doesn't reveal himself but I see him EVERYWHERE I look.

    Praise God.

  4. that is fine as long as you realize that just because your emotions tell you that you see him everywhere does not make it fact. emotions are not evidence

    I will make one last comment and wish everyone well.

    The thread was started by asking the question, Does a deep faith make you a better trader by giving you more peace in dealing with the stress's of the job.

    I regularly visit a few chat rooms during the trading day and share trades with others and the ONE comment I almost always get is " You are sooooo calm and disciplined".

    I honestly believe that this is a gift from God and the peace I get is from knowing that this business is JUST a business and at the end of the day it doesn't matter and there are far more important things in life then business.

    I'm not saying business isn't important just that it is certainly not first on my list of priorities.

    Good thread .... I will watch it from here on in

    :)

  6. I'm a committed Christian, yet I think any calm that I may have comes from the confidence of having a well developed trading system.

  7. So you are not making more comments? Don't go, you are needed.
    :D

    No kidding, it looks more like a burst of fanaticism.

    Your EVERYWHERE confines to the place your imperfect eyes can reach,
    and
    if you dared look at Him,
    God's brightness would have blinded you, a miserable mortal, instantly.

    Since it is said that humans can't use more than 10% of their brains, probably your brain is being fooled by MIRAGES and you think that you see Him while all the time what you see is Lucifer (the brightness of his fire can't blind you!).

    With all due respect thats wrong/ very misleading & just proves what rabbi Jesus said, paraphrase ''TALK IS CHEAP''

    Among true Christian who walk it not just talk it;
    who pray together,
    read the Holy Bible daily,
    , its single % divorce rate .[LESS than 10%]

    Could write a whole list of things orthodox Jews/orthodox Christian do much better;
    pray
    Most trueChristains dont try justify themselves [like Vhehn lamely attempts],God does that,
    repent, something you should really try Vhehn!!!!!!!!,
    understand much of the old Testament.
