It's the only leading cancer killer with a 5 year survival rate still in the single digits at 8% and the survival rate has not improved in the last 40 years.
I think you have a point. There still ought to be some relationship equity to make it a smart money bet, but I agree that similarity of outlook (preferably positive) is the glue that brings and keeps people together. That and genuine kindness towards one another.
