These are independent views, that is why they are posted on this site. BTW, I think there are some that have used the method.

PM if you like. Let me know how I can illustrate this for you...

BTW, have you seen Traders International work in real time with real money. Before you say it, not live market action. I mean actual trades going for two points. Don't believe a chart because it is marked up making two points. Remember, limits orders aren't always filled...:D

Actually, I can show you the same evidence they do...:)

Yes, I do...:) I didn't mean to come off rude, but it is that this topic has been spoken about, not to mention if they don't trade their own money, why would you purchase it....?

  6. NewZealand,

I would not spend the $$$ for the course if I was you (way too costly). The strategy has decayed over the last year or so and very strong trends are rough with the times method (you may have 4 or 5 multiple divergences prior to the price action actually reversing......they get into the trade after only a double divergence). Also when the market is in a choppy 4 point range before a possible breakout you can get hacked to death with the times system. Plus going for 2 points for your first profit target is insane IMO with some of the trade days we have.............tighter volatility kills these systems. Maybe when volatility comes back one day then the times will work better?

Heck a lot of my discretionary trading has only a +1.0 and then a +1.50 point profit target for my first two primary targets.....waiting for 2.00 points is just not a good idea IMO for all trades entered. Here is the type of day that kills times method trading.....

you need quick "in and out" ready to reverse at a moments notice strategies in the chop shop of many current trade days. If you can't hang in the chop, then when you do get a small breakout you need every bit of it to dig you out of the hole......

Here is a decent SHORT trade (took a while...LOL) from just after the HOD that the times method did not have a "double MACD & STOCH peaks" to enter from.....you would have been on the sidelines....

Here is the exact type of day you would have needed to get a decent times signal (MACD & STOCH divergence before the drop).....

I would suggest you spend 1/20th of the times method course costs on a few books to learn about indicators and price action patterns.....learn about T/A and start watching the markets realtime.........this is a profession of patients and commitment...it is very tough to buy your way into profitability for discretionary trading. In time you can build up your own indicators and develop your own style............

I purchased TIMES in Nov 03 and traded it for 6 months. In my experience the earlier post by AMT is 100% accurate.

Well - I duplicated thier indicators and I can say it works. I am interested in learning more from them. It works enough and quick enough to make it interesting or at least worth learning more about.
$5000 is a lot. But go into the market with a dull knife and you can lose that in 1 day.

Go in with a sharp knife and a $5000 system will pay for itself twice a month easily.

Do surgeons perform heart surgery after visiting one website or listening to the news or reading one book? I think not.

AMT is right - Chop is chop and on a choppy day nothing will work good.
