Yeah, overall a random walk, but within that there's definitely setups to be taken advantage of that generally play out in a fairly specific way once appropriate factors align. Also, people with a lot of money aren't randomly buying and selling on a whim, some days they already know they plan to unload into every rally. The exact extension of the rally, I don't think anyone knows that, but on certain days / setups the odds of us finishing near the lows have a pretty high probability, just like finishing on the highs. It's just all about having the stats and/or effective tools to view that, which takes a lot of work and knowledge for sure.
so m poin there is that when things are not going well or correctly is when humans really start to make errors in execution errors injudgement and most of all ERRORS in their own ability and skill set. When the team designated a navigator he nost likely has been good at navigation in the past and he made a 3km error out of a 650 KM race! but it feels terrible and it is a small error. but immediately he wants to correct and also make up some of that time with a short cut! but he just proved he is right this second not good at navigation. 2 negatives do not make a postive in trading sorry that is just more loss. the smart thing to do is to back track and just start over. the teams that would have done this could have started fresh back on the original plan knowing they are now on the right track. computers do this all the time they dont typically make mistakes in the first place but if so they dont mind back tracking unless they "KNOW" the short cut is going to work out first. Humans navigating are guessing on a lot of unknown variables when it comes to making a shortcut and this under extremem stress of already being lost! this is also the idea of should i stay with my camp or leave on foot and seek out help? lost os different scenarios. Down now on a good chunk had roughly a 3k turn in equity on this trade down 750 but holding into the 3.50 where i think it rallies up still.
down 3k on my last trade of the day in nq not a big deal up over 10k for the day and that was with a lot of bad execution wow getting smashed. avg price is 11,131 but someone is buying this stuff arent they besides me?
