I have a couple of issues with your idea of requesting that you have Baron "block people from the thread". A. You can just block the individual posters yourself, so you do not see their posts. B. Why do you care what does or does not look good for Tradovate, one of ET's sponsors? There are people here who sometimes disparage my broker, which is a sponsor here. I do not speak for my broker, and know that if my broker (sponsor) chooses to defend themselves if they need to, they will. I do not need to be their "online cop", or "knight in shining armor". Are you a subjugate of Tradeovate or something? At least I know my sponsor is here, holding their own. They do not need me to try to promote or defend them. They do that very well on their own. They do not need my blathering to bring them more business. Maybe you should stop mentioning Tradeovate in your thread? Especially when you couch your responses with curse words and attach your sponsor's name to it. That is not good for your sponsor. You are doing more harm than good to both yourself and your sponsor.
Your questions are ridiculous as are your issues and comments. Go away son, you are not welcome here.
Whomever you are desiring to block, you have that control. It’s in addition to ignore. Ignore let’s them see your posts but unable to quote and respond - they can still shit on your thread. Blocking keeps them from seeing your posts entirely. Once I discover blocking, the drama from petty tyrants reduced dramatically. Petty tyrants don’t generate any meaningful content unless of course one has their head up their ass so far, everything looks like shit and that’s the content one enjoys.
i never knew so i just blocked all the bastards in my ignore list lol. i almost never found the box to click sure hope this works. tks
Slow overnight volume is not the best indicator for a profitable day. Moreover, the range is tight and running from session high to session low is the "norm". Easy to get burned with a tight 3 tic stop loss. My history is when i open the stop loss, or remove it completely, I get burned for even more. I cannot handle draw downs, especially on Monday morning; tight budget. So, from 1045 until 1200 est is the best bet for momentum trading. I was going to scale from 3 to 5 contracts at the end of the year but now feel ready. I am always thinking about the high percentage of losing retail traders but that fear has vanished. Information here reveals to me that I am on the side that will survive, as long as I stick to what I know and not wander into the depths of EGO trader. Today, I will be a successful scalper, one tic at a time.
There it is, as plain as day, top to bottom in an hour. Wouldn't be surprised if it happened all morning long until it goes sideways after lunch.
So, at 1025 the volume increased dramatically and now the range bound ES is open for business. Luckily I grabbed two trades so far.
