  1. Well, not all the mods believe in Hershey - trust me on that.

Your choice in the end (of course). I personally hope you find something more rewarding with your time.

In the end, I still have to do my job deleting your threads and, if given the opportunity to do so, coding the forum to remove you permanently. Believe me, it's not personal. I have nothing against you other than the fact you're trying to disrupt my job.

Take care...I'm off to what rules my life - my new baby :) He takes too much time!

    Cheers.

  2. Ivanovich, just like you're supposed to listen to the markets, listen to the source. You can disagree but that's just the world you wish for, not the world that is, and T28's presence proves you wrong. ET asked for this (asymmetric warfare) in spades by selectively applying unfair standards, censorship and favoritism.

Any place that encourages Jack Hershey to play cult leader and allows the likes of steve911 to become its moral sheriff creates conditions that beg for a T28.

  3. Is the guy jumping ISPs or is he just jumping individual IPs every time? Blocks of IPs registered to ISPs are readily available public records with the APNIC, ARIN, RIPE etc.

Just ban all the IP relevant IP groups (nets) of the ISP he's using and redirect to some service message ...
This can easily be done with the Apache configuration, just use some rewrite rules (I think that was shown earlier).

Then if some legitimate user which has a fairly permanent IP - and REALLY needs access - just exempt from the rule with special-casing for their IP.

There can't be that many users from this ISP?
    :)

  4. Ok, I guess you're using Megaproxy or some other anonymizer then ... that would be a smart move on your part to perpetuate your presence ...

    :)

If it's true you use 4-8+ hours here, I truly pity you - although you have a sympathy for your illness. If the phone number was correct or something else concrete on your identity was revealed, I would track you down and divulge the information without any remorse. I'm sure there are a lot of people who would love to give you a little something back ... I would get a little fun out of it for sure.
    :D

  5. I understand that you have a point, and I think we have all seen you getting the point across. It's not like we don't see what's wrong etc.

But you need to remember the way you are acting, you are asking for a lot of trouble if we find out anything about your identity. Even if only 10 people would try to get back at you, and they have some skills - you would be in for a world of misery.
    :p

  6. asymmetric warfare? Heh, honestly man, this annoyance takes up a fraction of our time - which is why it's allowed to continue. If it actually detracted from the money Baron made on the site, it would be handled. Don't confuse someone not doing something with them not being ABLE to do something.

A fraction of our time in comparison to what it takes him/you or anyone else to be a pest. In the end, it is the obsessed poster that loses because they waste the time on something that has absolutely no effect in our lives or the site.

It just eats up the inside of the pest - regardless of how much they "pretend" it's entertaining to them.

  7. Joe, just delete the whole thread :) Otherwise it looks like I'm talking to myself now that he's been removed again! :)

  10. Because we'd rather have that 20 minutes doing something worthwhile. That's why.
