You should ask your next door neighbor: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...edge-fund-returns-are-found-in-tiny-singapore instead of us.
Here some stats for you. For the hell of it I ran a 3 year generation of the sim journal from today. That would have required, say, $1 million in each of 6-8 accounts to be successful, just as a generalization. Double the number of trades for 20K trades to be conservative, to be honest with how Ninja logs "trades". So 20K round-trip at an average of $4 per trade, that's $80K commish. So you get $880K net profit. 9 percent is not bad on 10 million, eh? That averages out to what, 3.3 percent per year? Not bad, eh? Come back to us when you are serious and believe your own bullshit, @dadelaw. (P.S. Dudes who follow my sim and live journals...See? There it is again, that 70% win-rate shit! I cannot escape that number! AHHHH! hehe)
Because you don't have a business. Yer bullshitting us. You are claiming you have 10 to 100 mil to grant a trader. I showed you my journals, and what can be done with 10 mil. Something is not RIGHT here. Just invest your 10-100 mil in the QQQ and be done with it.
Oh yes, I know Chong and he is very bright. But if you ask him to be honest about his success, he will tell you that it is very largely a matter of luck, something which his huge volatility will also attest to. As the article points out, crazy rich Asian 'investors' (gamblers) will take these massive risks. Unfortunately, my client will not. We really don't want to see annual returns of more than about 20%. I'm sure you can understand that. But thanks very much for the heads-up.
"Just invest your 10-100 mil in the QQQ and be done with it." I'd be glad to. Please just let me know when we hit the top so I don't lose 50% right behind. Couldn't be happier!
Then invest in me, because I can get you returns of about 3-5% per year guaranteed. Want me to prove it? Well, I suppose I will just have to increase my sim accounts to 10-100 million. I mean, the math should be clear. By the way, you guys are not running some money-laundering scheme, are you? Because I would have to check with my CPA if that would bump me into a higher tax-bracket.
