i am going away for the rest of the month.

here is my Q1 2013 performance.

my size is not large, so its nothing to brag about, but i wanted to post this.

 

Nothing to see here. It was a slow day Friday.

It was looking to be a pretty good day in the early morning and then the market turned over. All of my profits evaporated. I wasn't able to get anything going after that.

I was burned and faked out over and over. That was a bad day.

I only made 1 trade again today, a trend I don't like. This sideways grinding chop provides me with few opportunities. I have made progress with honing my strategy, but these market conditions are pretty difficult/frustrating.

Up $187 (discrepancy between realized and P&L is due to reporting in Canadian dollars).

 

A good day. Small account, but a very good return. The key is to control the stops. Trailing and hard stops. Never forget that. Then leverage is your friend. The gains are from NQ and CL.

 

On vacation this week. this is from last week. will update for 1st quarter when get back home.
